pushd docs
Everything about how pushd works. If you're brand new, start with the quickstart - it's the whole product in three steps.
The short version: pushd is a free Chrome extension that puts a ↑ Push button inside your AI chats (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok). One click deploys the page to hosting you own - Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, Tiiny.host or your own cPanel hosting - and hands back a live URL, QR code and share links. pushd isn't a host and your hosting tokens stay in your browser, deploys go straight from your browser to your provider, and your sites stay online even if you uninstall the extension.
Getting started
- Quickstart - Install, connect a host, push your first page. Takes about 5 minutes.
Providers
- Netlify - Create a personal access token and deploy to your-site.netlify.app.
- Vercel - Create an account token and deploy to a Vercel production URL.
- Cloudflare - Create a Workers token and deploy to your free workers.dev subdomain.
- GitHub Pages - Create a classic token and publish from a free public repository.
- Tiiny.host - Connect with just an email (free, temporary) or an API key (paid, permanent).
- cPanel hosting - Deploy to your own web hosting with a cPanel API token.
Using pushd
- Deploying - Where the Push button appears, dropping files and folders, site names, and what you get back.
- Updating & history - Update a live site in place, browse deploy history, redeploy old versions, health checks.
- SEO & sharing - Set the page title, social preview and favicon; QR codes and share links.
- Password protection - Put a password on a page before it leaves your browser - and what that does and doesn't protect.
- Optimization - Minify HTML and CSS and re-compress images before upload - lighter pages, faster loads.
Account
- Pro & billing - What's free, what Pro adds, and how upgrading and managing your subscription works.
Help
- Troubleshooting - Every error message pushd can show, what it means, and how to fix it.
- FAQ - Short answers to the questions everyone asks.
